Welcome to 7 Mile Island. A barrier Island that measures 7 ½ miles long, and 3 to 4 blocks wide consisting of two separate but similar boroughs – Avalon and Stone Harbor. The Island shares their world class beaches and back bays for boating and both offer a wide array of boutique shops, casual and fine dining, parks, community centers, wildlife sanctuaries, thriving walkable downtown districts, shuttle services in the peak season, and a never ending year-round schedule of community events.
The real estate market on 7 mile Island has thrived, even when other markets have suffered large declines. Being a long and narrow island surrounded by water, the beaches remain uncrowded in most parts of the island, and the vast bay is a playground for boats (fishing or watersports), kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, swimming, wave runners, fishing, crabbing, bird watching or just floating on rafts with family and friends in a fun and safe environment.
There are basketball courts, tennis courts, skateboard parks, bike lanes through most of the Island, miniature golf, and activities for kids of all ages. There are rental homes available in all shapes and sizes from beachfront to Bayfront and everything in-between as well as sale from affordable condos to waterfront mega mansions.
